Foam Ant - Giant Jungle Ant

Giant Jungle Ant

A friend of mine came back from a fishing and bring back a specimen of big jungle ant.... he wants me to try tying him a Giant Jungle Ant...

Some research fro the web show some of these jungle ants are as big as 2-3cm. in dark brown, red and black color
My 1st attempt on a foam ant pattern... was a disaster..

After looking at the picture of the ant over and over... this is my 2nd attempt.. got the shape and legs in proportion.. but I decided to make it a little bit more presentable

My 3rd attempt... I tie in the antenna and cut the mouth part... put a drop of Loon Hard head as eye...
